Hannah Diop was raised with an earth-friendly ethos, but struggled to find haircare that actually worked. In fact most of the products marketed to textured hair then and now use harsh chemicals that compromise our health and don't deliver on performance. In 2012 she decided to do something about it and after thousands of hours of research, testing, ingredient evaluations, and hundreds of formula drafts, Sienna Naturals was born. After 8+ years of witnessing the brand’s evolution, Hannah’s favorite product tester and sister-in-law, Issa Rae, officially joined forces as co-founder.

The entrepreneurial, MBA holder, mom of two, and mastermind of Sienna Naturals. Hannah is raising the bar and setting a new standard for high-performance, clean haircare in an industry with a history of ingredients that compromise the health of our hair, scalp and body. The brand is basically her third baby and she’s the glue that holds it all together.

The performance of our products are a direct reflection of Issa's ability to fill a need while elevating the category through her impeccable standards.

DERMATOLOGIST TESTED + APPROVED

CLINICAL TRIALS

Sienna Naturals is the first ever dermatologist tested and approved haircare line designed for textured hair. To become dermatologist approved each product is tested on more than 50 human subjects over the duration of several weeks before they are determined to be non-sensitizing and non-irritating to the skin. Board Certified Dermatologists and Registered Nurses oversee and evaluate each clinical trial.
